About Gil
Gil Weissman (He/Him) is an Actor and multidisciplinary artist who strongly believes in the power of art as a catalyst for change. Haifa born and Bay Area raised, Gil looks to expand his range with every project that he takes on. Recently, he played the titular role in UCLA Shakespeare’s King Lear. Additional roles at UCLA include He in The Successful Life of Three, and a performer at the LA Opera Euridice festival’s Quad I&II by Samuel Beckett. Gil has also originated roles in numerous musicals, including the role of Brian in Venture at Theatreworks of Silicon Valley. Outside of acting, Gil’s experience includes assistant directing at Stanford Theater for two mixed media productions, as well as writing and directing his own capstone play, Pragma. Gil is also a musician, writing and releasing music with his band, Lot 3. He plays bass guitar and regularly performs at gigs around LA with Lot 3 as well as 8eyes. He looks forward to starting his career and continuing to create art that challenges the norm.
